In 2006, Orange County voters gave OCTA a vote of confidence and approved a 30-year extension of an existing one half-cent sales tax that was set to expire in 2011.
This renewal allows OCTA to continue making transportation improvements, one half-cent at a time, that benefit the public and the local economy. As of fall 2022, OC Go is expected to generate approximately $15 billion through 2041.
