Cycling by the Sea (North Beach Station)

See the sights in San Clemente and enjoy the soothing ocean breeze on a bicycle! Take a leisurely tour of the coastline at your own pace, stopping for a delicious lunch or cool treats along the way.

Itinerary

First stop, coffee before your ride. And you’re in luck because Kaylani Coffee is located in the station parking lot. First cup is poured at 7 am on weekends.
Don’t have your own bike? Rent one from Bicycles San Clemente. They're also located at the station, and open every day except Tuesdays and rainy days. Call ahead for more info at (949) 492-5737.
Next, hop on your bike and enjoy scenic coastal views as you cycle along the 2.3-mile San Clemente Beach Trail. The trail head is located at the station and ends at San Clemente State Beach.
Stop for lunch at Antoine's Cafe. Take a downtown detour to reach this local favorite located at Avenida Victoria and El Camino Real. Open from 6:30 am to 3 pm. Warning: It's an uphill ride!
Cruise downhill back to the North Beach station and pick up a tasty treat for the train ride home at Nitrogen Ice Cream, located in the station parking lot.
