    Measure M2 Local Programs

  • On October 14, 2019, the OCTA Board of Directors (Board) authorized staff to issue the 2020 calls for projects (call) for the Community-Based Transit Circulators (Project V) program. This program establishes a competitive process to enable local jurisdictions to develop community- based local transit services which complement regional transit services. The general objective of the program is to provide safe, clean, and convenient transit service to meet transportation needs in areas not served adequately by regional transit. An estimated amount of $9 million in M2 funds will be available for this funding cycle. The Board approved revised 2020 CTFP Guidelines which OCTA has made available online and can be found here (see chapter 6). The 2020 call closed on December 12, 2019.
